The Triumph TR6 C motorcycle was built for competition, specifically for desert racing

where durability was what counted, not brute horsepower. The 650cc air-cooled vertical

twin engine produced 42hp at 7000 rpm. Stopping was accomplished with drum brakes,

front and rear.
