1912 Stutz A-Series Bearcat

This car was built right after the 1911 Stutz that was entered in the Indy 500 in 1911. The

restoration took place during 2007 and 2008 and has been verified as the most correct and

possibly the earliest. ConceptCarz notes that production of the Bearcat started in 1914 and

ran until 1924. However, it does mention that Bearcats were winning races in 1912. This

may be a pre-production car in fact and the earliest car in existence.
