Bluegrass Tour d' Elegance

   The 2011 Tour d’Elegance, on Sunday July 17, 2011, departed from the Keene Barn at the Keeneland Race course at 9:00 am.  The driving tour headed south through horse country then across the Kentucky River  and palisades through rolling farms to the historic city of Danville.  Danville was Kentucky’s first capital and is home to the prestigious Center College. 

The mid-morning rest stop was at Constitution Square in Danville for a brief encounter with early Kentucky history.  The drive thenl continued through Lancaster, KY then south to some of the most fun roads that we have had on any of the previous seven tours d’Elegance. 

The tour concluded with a catered lunch at the elegant Boone Tavern in the charming community of Berea, Ky.       

The Tour cost is $200 per car for two people and $75 for each additional passenger.
